Each year, The News-Press celebrates the academic and extracurricular achievements of three Lee County high school students. We call them Rising Stars. This year's finalists are Helena Robertson of North Fort Myers High, Joshua Rivera of Fort Myers High, and Ida S. Baker High’s Thalia Fernandez.
