The Cape Coral Fire Department debuted its newest station, Station 11, on Burnt Store Road on Wednesday. It is built to last 50 years and will serve a burgeoning Cape population. It has about 11,000 residents in its coverage area, and will serve a bout 28,000 by 2040.
